Urban Electric Power designed and installed a 120kWh grid-tied solar system in Mumbai, India. The system is connected to 44kW of solar, and provides power to a nearby factory where it can be used for demand response and backup power. The system uses the 30kW Ideal Power bi-directional inverter and is housed in a 20-foot shipping container. It has since become the template for several other UEP projects.
