Urban Electric Power installed a 112kWh battery backup system at a commercial office in Norwalk, CT. The customer, a computer consulting firm that delivers IT support and network management for businesses, requires backup to maintain business operations during an outage. The company’s existing portable generator was too small and required manual connection. A larger, more permanent generator was not an option due to zoning issues.

 

The UEP battery system is installed on-site and sized to power both the servers and the air conditioner for a full 24 hours.
